When it comes to the well loved, Frappe that everyone needs to get their coffee fix during the blistering heat of summer, many do not know that you can actually make one of these fantastic drinks from home. Equally, they are a fantastic, healthy alternative being that there’s not much in them save for the occasional flavoring and the well loved shot of espresso. This shake recipe can be make with chocolate protein powder, but I prefer the vanilla protein instead. That being the case, for all of you coffee lovers out there in need of your coffee fix, check out the recipe below:
Coffee Protein Shake Tips:
When it comes to the measurement of a shot, it equates to: 2 ounces or about a shot glass of coffee. That being the case, I would suggest a similar approach to the Protein as described above. Equally, I’d strongly suggest the chocolate or Vanilla flavored protein to give your frappe a bit of flavor; if you’re interested. Otherwise, I would suggest a plain Protein flavor for those of you that prefer your coffee black.

Feel free to omit the biscuits if you don’t want the extra carbs. This is the best recipe I found that tasted as close to real apple pie as possible. I also prefer to make my own apples for this recipe, which I make by cooking the apples in a fry pan on the stove with a teaspoon of cinnamon and sugar. But canned works as well.
Just add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. If you like your shakes with bigger pieces, just pulse a few times to get the desired consistancy.
