I train at home and I don't have a training partner. I want to get as stong as possible, but also don't want to get injured or stuck under a heavy bar. How can you increase your max bench press without a spotter?
Probably the best way to increase your max bench-press is by using a Smith machine where you can just click the bar in when you cannot lift anymore. But there are a few other ways that you can effectively improve your maximum press by using pyramids correctly, or bench pressing with dumbbells.
