I have been reading about negitive only training and am excited about it. I want to improve my bench press max and want to know how effective are negative reps for increasing your bench press?
Negatives are probably the best way to increase your maximum weight on bench-press but is certainly not the only way. Sports Science has proven that you will be 60% stronger on an eccentric movement compared to a concentric movement. It is important that you do not train negatives every time you train your chest as this will cause you the usual symptoms of overtraining.
