I read about the Mike Mentzer heavy duty workout routine.
Hey man I like mike him and Arnold are my favorites and I really believe mike was right on the money. So when I do incline and flat bench I just push up 4 seconds and down 4 seconds and how many sets?

Mike had me do only 1 set to failure for each exercise. He felt if you wanted to do another set then you didn't work hard enough on the first set.
If you don't have Mike's workout DVD, you really should get it, it is the closest thing you can get to Mike being in the gym with you.
