Shock Workouts
Posted by: HSpowerlif
Is this a good way to boost your numbers?
I was told to basically kill myself for three workouts by doing this workout.
And then to start back up on my normal workouts.
(I broke my arm a few months ago, and I''m trying to get my bench back up, it used to be 280, and it is now about 225)
175x10, x8, x6, x4
155x10, x8, x6, x4
135x10, x8, x6, x4
115x10,x8, x6, x4
105x10, x8, x6, x4
95x10, x8, x6, x4
then max out on some push-ups.

Why do a crazy workout like this to gain strength? Maybe if you want to be a bodybuilder but you need to be training heavy and in lower rep ranges, between 1-3. There is no magic routine that is going to jump start your numbers. Set up your periodization plan and follow it.
