I have been using the 5 x 5 training programme for 2 weeks now. Does it really work for sizing up and gaining strength ? In this programme, I train each muscle twice a week. ie:
Monday & Thursday: pullups 5 x 5 - deadlift 5 x 5 - preacher curl 5 x 5 - alt dumbell curls 5 x 5
Tuesday & Friday: bench press 5 x 5 - dumbell incl. press 5 x 5 - tricep pushdowns 5 x 5 - skullcrusher 5 x 5
Wednesday: Leg press 5 x 5 - Leg ext 5 x 5 - donkey calve 5 x 5 - seated calve 5 x 5 - military press 5 x 5
