Sean Connery was a former scottish actor, producer, and bodybuilder. He is known for his role in James bond movies, he is apparently one of the best Bond actors. Sean was born on August 25, 1930 in Fountainbridge, Scotland. He joined the Royal Navy at the age of 16 but was later released from service on medical grounds due to a duodenal ulcer.

He started bodybuilding at the age of 18 and trained with his former gym instructor in the British army. After few years of hard training, he allegedly placed 3rd in the 1953 Mr. Universe competition. He later lost interest in bodybuilding when he discovered that the Americans were placed ahead of him during competitions because of his wiry frame.

Sean decided to venture into acting, after appearing in numerous movies, he landed the role of James Bond- Sean was the first actor to potray Bond in 007 movies. He was also named " Sexiest Man Alive " by People Magazine in 1989.


Sean Connery Workout Routine


Sean Connery did a full body worrkout 3 times a week, focusing on compound and isloation exercises for each of the major muscle groups:

CHEST
Barbell bench press - 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps
Dumbell chest flyes - 3 sets of 10 to 12 reps

BACK
Barbell row - 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps
Pull up - 2 sets to failure

SHOULDERS
Shoulder press - 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps
Dumbell lateral raise - 3 sets of 10 to 12 reps

ARMS
Barbell curl - 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps
Incline Dumbbell curl - 3 sets of 10 to 12 reps
Close grip bench press - 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps
Dips - 2 sets to failure

LEGS
Barbell squat - 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps
Leg Extension - 3 sets of 12 to 15 reps
Leg Curl - 3 sets of 10 to 12 reps
Standing calf raises - 3 sets of 15 to 20 reps
