Powerlifting Squat Routine

This is a great way to start out if your new to squats or you just want to bulk up and increase your weight. Supersquats, the brutal, painful, sure fire way to get stronger and bigger. The concept is simple, perform one set of 20 reps. There’s a catch though you have to use a weight that you would normally do 10 reps and push yourself to do 20. If you are doing them properly then you will probably be vomiting shortly after. They are brutal, but I can tell you they worked well for me.

When I started with this routine I had never done squats before, I started with 1 plate i believe it was (135lbs) and could barely squeeze out 20 haha, but inside of 9 months I was squatting 420lbs for 20. Simply put “they work”.

Here’s a layout.

Warm up 5-7 reps x3

Work set 20reps x 1

Now if your gonna do this routine, you need to eat… alot. Lots of food, and my personal favorite, milk, its cheap, has lots of protein and tastes great. If you do not like milk just make sure you are getting plenty of protein and calories.
