Vince Gironda Breakfast To Build Muscle

When you wake up in the morning, your muscles are starving for breakfast to get new nutrients which they've gone without all night.

Make your breakfast count and replenish what your body used up overnight

You've heard and read that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.  It especially is for when your goal is to pack on as much muscle as possible.  The current fad of fasting and intermittent fasting works to lose weight (for men, mostly) yet it may come at the expense of muscle tissue loss.  You may have read my point of view in a previous post on fasting.

After 8+ hours of sleeping, your digestive system should have gone through whatever you ate the day before and is ready for breakfast that contains more nutrients to support you in putting on some size.

Vince's and my suggestions are very similar.


Vince Gironda's breakfast choices


"A good breakfast for maximum energy lasting up to six hours should consist of: one-quarter to one-half pound liver, chops, steak, hamburger, brains, kidneys or mixed grilled fish. Added to this should be another protein such as eggs, cheese, certified raw milk (or powdered milk can be added to the eggs). Five ounces of American cheese has the same calcium, Vitamin A, and protein content as a quart of milk."

There's no way to go wrong with the above breakfast ingredients.  They contain key muscle building nutrients, vitamins and minerals yet they're devoid of empty carbohydrate calories so you have no need to worry about gaining fat.

These meals will ensure a steady supply of energy for your body which is why it can satisfy you for up to six hours.

The other upside is all of these are quick and easy to make.  When you get into the habit of eating these meals, you'll love the added benefit of an easier time to gain size.

When you eat the right foods, breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
