Nutrition To Get Built
Research shows that if you eat less calories than you burn, you will lose the weight. If you do the opposite, you will gain the weight. So what sort of diet should you be eating, if you want to gain more muscle mass?
Well the first thing you should be keeping in mind is protein. Any kind of food with high amounts of protein is a good place to start. But your main protein fix should be from chicken. But do your best to make it lean chicken. Lean chicken has more protein and less fat.
The number of calories is the most important thing to keep in mind. Fats are a good thing to have in your body, but always make sure they are the good types of fats. Same goes for the carbs. Carbs are an essential part of our diet, but eating the good carbs is what builds up the mass. Things like fruits and vegetables are the next best place to start. They have the nutritional content that can raise your muscle mass.
With the carb and fat intake there are m any variations. Some believe that high carb, low fat is the best way to build muscle mass. Others believe that low carb, high fat is the best way to go about it. Than there are the remaining few that go by the moderate carb, low fat angle. It's up to you and your doctor really. You can manipulate the intake any way you like. But the for your best efforts, high protein protein is the way to go. Eating more protein is the best way to curb your appetite. It will suppress those hunger pangs and help you to build up your mass more.
Either way, create a spreadsheet. This will help you to not spin your wheels and stay on track. That way you will know exactly what you are putting in your mouth. Once you achieve your desired results, than you can get rid of the sheet and stop counting the calories.
