Best nutrition tips for building muscle

Posted by: PFB

Books, television and magazines all talk about healthy nutrtion by saying: "The way we eat = the way we look". In bodybuilding this wisdom has become kind of slogan. The search of the most effective diet started from the date of the origin of the bodybuilding and it continues today.

Carbohydrates are the main fuel for muscles. Transforming in your body into glucose, it is stored by muscles and internal organs in the form of glycogen. However during intensive training your glycogen reserve is exhausted. Recovery depends on the quantity of glycogen in muscles, a diet enriched with carbohydrates accelerates the recovery process. Thus, have a intkae of healthy natrual carbohydrates, helps your preparation to do your next workout.

It isn't necessarily to over-eat, but it is better to do it more often. Five or six smaller meals and snacks a day are more useful, than three big meals. By eating with small portions, you will maintain your blood sugars level, without feeling hungry and without discomfort caused by the digestion of large portions of food.

The balanced diet is the best way to increase a muscle mass. Such a diet includes eating from the following food groups:

  • Milk (milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, cheese)

  • Meat (beef, veal, mutton, pork, fish, poultry, egg etc.)

  • Vegetables (fruit, vegetables, bean, nuts,)

  • Grain (bread, cereals)

  • Fats (butter, vegetable oils)
