I wanted to touch on the one aspect that I feel is missed by so many trainers and Bodybuilders alike. Nobody wants an injury, everybody wants to stay in shape, firstly you should look at your training as an individual. Are you training for power, muscle, long term health? The list goes on.
If your a 10 stone newby your not going to be powerlifting 100kg atlas stones, this will end in tears. Like wise, with a year off training due to injury I am having to start at a more sensible level rather than the style of training I went out on. Last week I found myself asking, is it a short term fix or a long term objective..? Certainly the latter.
So how will I avoid any further injuries. Firstly taking a sensible approach to training, secondly, I will be utilising a quality joint support and multi vitamin. These two products are the last on 90% of people's supplement lists but I assure you they are vitally important.
When you look at the pressures on your knees and back from squatting and deads alone thats enough to warrant some form of proctection. A Multi Vitamin will keep you in check and help your immune system. While the Joint support will keep you supple and your joints lubricated enought to continue in the sport.
