Q. In regards to pullovers, does deep breathing and stretching far back really expand the rib cage? If it does, would it be better to perform higher repetitions with a lighter weight and spend more time stretching and inflating the lungs as much as possible, or is the amount of weight the more important factor?
A. The jury is still out on this training technique. I like the movement and if it does seem to expand the rib cage. The lighter load/higher repetition scheme with a full stretch is a better idea.
