Bodybuilding Essential Amino Acids

Amino acids are defintely beneficial to bodybuilding. Many bodybuilders rely on amino acids to give them the proper protein needed. Amino acids are used by bodybuilders to help build muscle. It helps them get stronger. Amino acids can actually come in the form of supplements. There are 9 different essentail amino acids, and these cannot be produced by the body itself. They can only be obtained by eating a healthy diet. The essential amino acid are isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine. One other amino acid - histidine is semi-essential because you don't always get it from food sources. Taking supplements will defintely ensure that you receive all 9 of the essential amino acids that are needed.

Athletes can actually choose to consume 0.4g/kg of quickly diegesting protein that they choose from. This can either be whey hydrolysate or whey concentrate/isolate. If athletes are looking for an even benefiting way to add these to their diet, they can take 0.8g/kg carbohydrate. This will enhance the recovery effects that come from these amino acids.
