This review is in response to all of the requests that I have gotten regarding products suach as Andro-6, Anotesten, Andro Test, Andro Fuel and Andro Pro. With the flood of promising reviews on androstene and androdiol there was bound to be some companies that would try to a good supplement better.
Lets look at what is in these products and what each of these ingredients is supposed to do:
Androstenedione *
Androstenedione is a testosterone precursor. Androstenedione is a natural steroid hormone
that can be found in all animals. It is is a metabolite of DHEA.
It is made naturally in the body by the gonads and adrenal glands. The
effects of androstenedione last for only a short period of time but it
causes a sudden burst of testosterone it will boost athletic performance
by increasing muscle strength.
DHEA
DHEA is an adrenal hormone that is a
testosterone precursor. It is about two steps up the ladder from
testosterone though. DHEA converts to androstenedione in the body
and then converts to testosterone. This makes DHEA basically an androstenedione
precursor.
Tribulus
Terrestris
Tribulus
is a testosterone booster by different means that DHEA or androstenedione.
It is supposed to boost testosterone production by increasing the amount
of luteinizing hormone that they body produces. LH is what signals
the testes to start producing more endogenous testosterone, the body's
natural testosterone.
Saw
Palmetto
Saw Palmetto
is a plant herb that is supposedly beneficial for the prostate. The
active ingredient in saw palmetto is supposed to inhibit the conversion
of testosterone to the androgen DHT. DHT is bad for a couple of reasons
but it may be essential in other regards. It causes enlargement of
the prostate as well as hair loss. These are both effects that most
men would want to live without. The other reason for the inclusion
of saw palmetto is that it is being touted as an anti-estrogen.
Chrysin
Chrysin is
a naturally occurring flavone that has been shown to inhibit the conversion
of androgens to estrogen's.
Overview
The combination of these supplements has worked nicely
for many people. Instead of buying DHEA, Tribulus, etc, separately,
you get them all together in one stack. This
can save you a lot of hassle dealing with just 1 supplement instead
of 6, and at the same time you can save some money. Many users
have had positive gains with these Andro Stacks. All these products have good user reviews. Which you choose is completely up to you;
however, what has worked for others may NOT necessarily work for
you.

By passing this bill, the Congress has amended the Controlled Substances Act to include virtually all of these supplements and stacks such as Andro, 4 Androstenedione, Nor Androstenediol, etc. The Controlled Substances Act was passed in 1990 and at that time all steroids were classifed as "Schedule III" substances and were put in the same category as heroin, cocaine and other similar narcotics. Now, with the passage of Senate Bill 2195, they have added andro supplements and prohormones to the Controlled Substances Act.
