Weight Loss Tips

Below you will find some tips on weight loss to help you understand and educate you about Weight Loss:

  • Drink 8 - 10 glasses of water a day.  This is CRUCIAL to losing weight.  YOU MUST DO THIS if you intend on losing weight!
  • Eat your largest meals in the AM and don't eat anything within 2 hours of going to bed.
  • Try to eat 4 - 5 small meals per day.
  • Take the stairs instead of riding the elevator.
  • Park your car farther away then usual.  This will increase the amount you have to walk and will burn more calories.
  • The water Trick: Before every meal, drink 1 Large glass of water.  You're not to start eating until you have fully consumed this large glass of water.  Half way through your meal, drink another large glass of water.  You're not to start eating again until you have finished this glass of water.  After your meal, drink one more large glass of water. You should drink 3 large glasses total.
  • Cut down on all sugars especially candy, soda, fruit juice.  Try to drink only water.
  • Exercise in the morning on an empty stomach.  Make sure in addition to doing cardio activity, you lift weights.
  • Clean out your cupboards immediately.  Get rid of all junk food and bad food.  If you do not have this food in your house, you will not be tempted to eat it.
  • Give yourself one free day (only if you have been good) out of a week to eat whatever you'd like.  This is a reward for eating so well during the other days of the week.
  • Shut the TV off.
