Powertec Home Gym Review

Powertec Review

The Powertec company has a large catalog of home workout equipment. The company has been in business for ten years now and use a network of dealers and sellers to get their equipment sold. They have machines for both home and commercial applications available, though most of what they have on their website appears to be commercial in nature now. They have eight leverage machines and they have ten of what they call 'strength classics', as well at three workbenches. All of the equipment offered is relevant if a person owns a home gym of there own. However this equipment would not be good for someone who just wants a basic gym that does more things besides strength training.

Powertec's Workbench Multi System is what you'd expect from a full on gym such as Gold's Gym or LA Fitness. The equipment is suited for large area's and not home use. However it is apparently used in the home. However the sheer size of this piece of equipment does not make it of any use to the average person. The large Workbench has eight exercises that it can do and cost around $1500.

There are also specific machines for certain exercises. They have a chin up machine, a squat machine, an arm curl machine, then they have machines for strength training and even a dumbbell rack. All of these machines are on the larger side of things and range in price from less than $500 to over $100 for a machine. Machines of this caliber are for a serious weight and strength training enthusiast. These are large heavy machines that require the use of a dedicated room.

The quality of these machines is very good. Powertec takes the time to make sure their machines are all up to a certain quality standard and are safe for the user. An entire page on their website is devoted to the quality of their machines. The warranties on each piece of the equipment are slightly different due to how different parts wear out during use.

Overall Powertec seems like a very reliable company and one that knows what it's doing and sells quality equipment for both the home and business.
