Bodybuilding Bedtime Meals

What to eat before bed? Here are a couple of good bodybuilding bedtime meals for you to try.

1 cup nonfat cottage
1 scoop whey protein powder
1 tablespoon flax oil
2 teaspoons soluble fiber

1 cup nonfat cottage cheese
1 scoop whey protein
1 tablespoon natural peanut butter
7 fish oil capsules

1 chicken breast
1/2 cup broccoli

As a bodybuilder, most eat 5 to 8 small meals that are high in nutrients each day. When you are going to bed for the night, it will be your longest fast of the day. This is why you need something nutritious about an hour or two before you go to bed. You want to sustain your anabolic environment while you sleep.

Some great foods to include for healthy fats include natural peanut butter, fish, olive oil and 6 or 8 grams of fiber, which can be found in fruits, vegetables, oat bran and beans. The last meal of the day should be carbohydrate free, which is why cottage cheese or a chicken breast is an excellent option.

Be certain that you have bodybuilding bedtime meals each night.
